In the days of Instagram and all of these snazzy iPhone apps that make ordinary phone photos look like professional Photoshopped prints, it’s easy to play with photos and turn them into your very own style works of art.  This is all fun until you edit a photo that has a copyright.  Then, you’ve broken the law.  I am now changing the way I release my photos.  You will no longer obtain “copyright” releases.  Instead, you can have “print releases”.  You can still print your photos out, but you can no longer alter my images in any shape or form.  I work very hard and spend literally HOURS making sure your images are perfect.  You PAY me for this.  I have no issue with folks using my photo as a profile picture, but you cannot crop them.  Facebook has a way of seeing what the square should go around.  You do not have to crop it.  My logos should NEVER be removed.  You cannot print the web images.  They are LOW resolution and very small size.  They WILL NOT look as you see them on the screen.  They will not be sharp.  I hope you all understand, but this is MY art!  I am truly heartbroken when I see my images re-edited and posted on Facebook.
